Sweet ladies,

The goal for It’s 4 uMom ministry is to involve other churches in implementing this great, fun, and non confrontational way to reach community moms for Christ through building relationships.

My responsibility in this ministry is to contact churches and share this outreach with gospel preaching churches who believe in reaching souls and discipling them. Grace Bible Baptist Church in Catonsville, Maryland is in their second year of implementing It’s 4 uMom. They have amazing leaders. Sherry Gorham and Donna Block as well as other church ladies, have a passion to love, care, and reach community moms and their families.

A young mom in their group is sharing with all of us how God is working in her life by attending GBBC’s mom’s group.

Hi. My name is Shannon Rice. I am a stay at home mom to three beautiful kids. I am one of those moms that is truly obsessed with her kids. I genuinely LOVE spending time with them and rarely take a moment for myself. From the first mention of this group JUST for us moms, I was so excited! What a wonderful opportunity to attend and build friendships with other moms that are going through the same phase in life as me. I can relate to all the joys and struggles of motherhood. From the very first meeting, I was hooked! I went home feeling refreshed, pampered and full of joy! The lovely ladies who take so much time and put so much effort into making us mama’s feel special and loved, are such blessing to us all.

Last year, my one year old baby was diagnosed with epilepsy. I was going through a really difficult time. It was such an encouragement to me to have other moms who truly cared about my son and me. They continue to hug me and tell me that they are praying for us. Each time I attend ‘It’s 4 uMom’, I am truly blessed and I am very thankful to be a part of such a wonderful, meaningful ministry. I encourage all moms of every age to get involved in this ministry. I know you will enjoy it as much as I do!
